How do I Join the SCA ?

Very easy, good gentle.  Show up.  You can become a paid member if you like, and if you want to fight or hold office you'll have to, but just be there, and get in the spirit, and VOILA, you're a member!  And if you want to become a paying member, we can lead you there.

Why do you all do this?

Heheheheheh.  Judging from the large bruise I have from fighter practice, my sanity may be in question.  Actually, we all have a love and interest in things medieval.  And we want to know more, and have fun doing it.

Who is... this funny name, title, whatever... ?

We get in the mood by adopting personas from the Middle Ages.   We also adopt titles.  Instead of a President, we have a seneschal, and so on.

When do you all meet ?

1st Monday of Every month at the Edinburgh Public Library, 119 W. Main Cross St. Edinburgh, IN 46124 (812-526-5487) If you are unsure of the location of the Library, call an officer, or you may call the Library if you can't get to one and they will give you directions (Bug the officers first. Make them earn their pay.)  It's important to be there on time, as the library closes early and we stay past closing time.  If you are going to be late, please, please, please call an officer and let them know!  We want you there!  

A&S Meetings: 2nd and 4th Wednesday of Every Month, at 7:00 pm  at the Bartholomew County REMC 801 2nd St, Columbus, IN  47201
